Martin Methodist sophomore Eli Christman from Soddy-Daisy High School won the International Skeet Gold Medal for the second year in a row at the recent ACUI collegiate national shotgun championships in San Antonio. He won one of the six qualifying tournaments last fall to get in the International Shoot Out event and then advanced to the finals, where he hit 57 of 60 targets. Christman holds the junior world record with 58 of 60 in the finals at the USA Shooting Nationals last October. He'll be back in Texas in September for part one of the U.S. Olympic Trials.




Chattanooga State Community College has selected 15 highly motivated and dedicated student ambassadors to help represent the college during admission, recruiting, orientation, and community events. This elite group also maintains positive relationships between students, faculty, staff, and members of the community while encouraging school spirit and participation in student life.

Hayley McNeal, Chattanooga, is a Soddy-Daisy High School grad majoring in Nursing who was chosen to be a new Student Ambassador!
