I am originally from Franklin, Tennessee where I attended Centennial High School.  I graduated with a Tennessee and Williamson County academic honors diploma.

I attended college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where I received my Bachelors degree in Secondary Education for Natural Sciences: Biology. While attending UTC I cheered on the co-ed squad for football and basketball.

I am currently working on my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Tusculum University. I will graduate in May 2018.

I completed student teaching placements at Red Bank High School and The Challenger Learning Center in the Spring of 2009.  After completing my placements I took a long-term substitute position at Red Bank High School teaching Biology and Environmental Science.

In the Spring of 2009 I began my career as an East Hamilton Hurricane. I taught high school Biology and Physical Science from 2009-2010.  I moved across the spine hallway in 2010 to teach 8th Grade Science.

This year I am teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Environmental Science at Soddy Daisy High School. I am looking forward to a great school year. GO TROJANS!

While teaching at East Hamilton I also coached. I have coached both dance and cheerleading at the high school and middle school levels for several years.
