Transportation
For any safety or driving concerns regarding First Student buses (buses numbered 200 and above), please contact 423-498-5555 or visit www.firstfeedback.com
Buses are expected to arrive within 10 minutes of their scheduled time. Please have students at their stops and ready to board the bus 10 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time. The bus schedule can not allow more time to wait for tardy students or for students to exit personal vehicles. For more information, please see the rules of conduct in the Transportation Policy Manual
Hamilton County Schools transports more than 20,000 students to and from school each day. There are 251 daily bus routes covering 23,000 miles each day and 4.0 million miles annually. Our mission is to provide safe and efficient transportation to and from school daily.

A student council is a group of student leaders who work with an adult
advisor to collaborate with others to impact their school community,
which impacts their city or town, which impacts our state, which
impacts our country, which changes the world.

What is Common Grounds?
Common Grounds is our very own school store! Come by during our business hours and visit a fully functioning coffeehouse. Also pick up some candy, chips, beef jerky, drinks, or cookies! Common Grounds is completely self-ran and maintained by the students here at SDHS.
Business hours:
Common Grounds is open every day during 7:15 AM until Lunch Monday- Friday.
Delivery system:
Students and teachers can use their classroom menu to find which items they’d like. To place an order, customers must dial 66028 from the classroom phone. All money should be collected by a teacher or a designated representative, and within the next 5 minutes, your special order will be delivered.
