Mr. Laxton was a 3 time Alabama State Champion in Wrestling.
He has had a long career coaching at :
- Huntsville High, Alabama for 4 years
- Live Oak High, Florida for 1 year
- East Hamilton High School for 1 year
- East Ridge High for 3 years
- Loftis Middle for 5 years
Mr. Laxton has been teaching in Hamilton County at SDHS since 2009. For 5 of those years, he was an assistant coach on the Wrestling Team. He is currently the Head
Wrestling Coach for SDHS.
