Coach Morrell's daily goal is to take each student and help them to get where they are going. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Coach Morrell serves as the Co-Defensive Coordinator for the football program, where he oversees the development of the Linebackers. He, also, coordinates a large portion of the kicking game and instructs the kickers.
He has been teaching and coaching since 2004, and teaching at SDHS since 2017. He is a 1999 graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School and a 2005 graduate of Jacksonville State University. Coach Morrell is married and has two children.
