Learning Option for Semester 2 Tutorial for Parents
Families can now make their learning option selection for the spring semester in PowerSchool.
Families who participated in HCS at Home this semester must sign up in Parent Portal on PowerSchool if they wish to continue in HCS at Home next semester.
***In PowerSchool click on "Forms" on the left-hand side. Click on 2020-2021 Family Learning Options-Semester 2. Pick your option and click "Submit."
For Parents/Guardians who do not make a selection for the spring semester, their student will automatically be enrolled in on-campus learning at their school.
The deadline to make your selection is
Friday, Nov. 20.

Online Payment Change for School Meals
Hamilton County Schools is changing our online payment process to a new vendor. The link to the old vendorMyPaymentPlus will no longer accept payments beginning next Friday, November 27. Parents will need to send cash or check in the transition time between the Thanksgiving and Winter breaks (11/30-12/17).
The new system will go online during the Winter Break, and those funds will be available for use when school resumes on January 6, 2021. Meals arefree through the end of the school year, so this is only for a la carte/extras and adult meals.
This notice is to inform HCS families and staff that their information could be shared between HCS and the Health Department, as needed, in the event of a positive cast of COVID-19. Read more on HCDE's Main Website.
NEW process to turn in Excused Absences Electronically!
Use the following Google Classroom Assignment Code for uploading medical, court, death, parent, and any other excuse pertaining to attendance/absences. This will also include bus notes and dismissal notes from parents. The students will upload the excuses just as if they were uploading an assignment.
They will only have 5 days to upload excuses, the same as if they were handing them in to the Attendance Office. The codes are as follows:
