TIME Project Based Learning

Project-Based Learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.

"How can we, as student entrepreneurs, create a business that would thrive during the Industrial Revolution?"

Students in Mr. Rayborn's History classes and Ms. Johnson's English classes worked together to develop a business idea during the Industrial Revolution. Business plans, logos, working conditions, resources, and regulations had to be considered for this project-based learning experience.  Writing a comparative essay contrasting the chosen business idea issues in the industrial revolution versus modern-day was an important step in developing their ideas.

Here are two sample solutions to the driving question.

Team 2 - Local keyZ Bank
